Ted Baker and Tim Turner have over 50 years of combined experience in Landscape Architecture. BTi provides professional consulting services to both the public and private sector. Their highly acclaimed and award winning projects can be found throughout the Greater Toronto Area and across Canada. More recently, they have been involved in major urban design and landscape design projects in the United Arab Emirates. Currently the firm is comprised of 6 graduates in Landscape Architecture supported by 3 office management personnel.

Ted Baker ~ BLA, OALA, FCSLA

Ted started his own practice in Landscape Architecture in 1977 and became a Fellow in the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects in 1992. He has taught at both Ryerson University and at the University of Toronto, as well as being a regular guest lecturer at Niagara College. In addition to his accomplishments in Landscape Architecture,
Ted Baker has participated in the design and renovation of over two dozen highly acclaimed golf courses across Canada

Tim Turner ~ BLA, OALA, CSLA

|
Tim received a Landscape Architectural Technology diploma from Ryerson in
1981. He then went on to receive an Honours Bachelor of Landscape
Architecture degree from the University of Toronto in 1985. Tim joined Ted
Baker after working for the City of Calgary and became a partner with the
firm in 1998. Tim has exceptional design and project management skills and
his award winning projects are a testament to his capabilities.

Deanne Christie ~ BLA

|
Deanne is the Senior Design Associate at Baker Turner inc. Deanne graduated from the University of Guelph in 1988 with an Honour’s Degree in Landscape Architecture. She also received the ASLA Award of Excellence. Since 1990, Deanne has served as a guest critic at both the University of Toronto and the University of Guelph. Deanne brings to BTi an exceptional aptitude for innovative landscape design.
